Join us for a beginner-friendly sewing workshop in the Makery! Spots are limited, so please be sure to RSVP in advance.
The sewing project for this workshop is sewing a tote bag!!
This project will likely take 2 hours to complete. Please plan to attend the full 2 hour session to work on your project.
Participants must be certified to use sewing machines in The Makery and hold a Certification Badge issued by The Makery. If you are not yet certified, you must complete an in-person sewing machine training at the Makery before registering for this workshop, regardless of prior sewing experience.
Training sessions are generally short (about 15 minutes), and are designed to walk patrons through the basics of sewing machine set-up and Makery-specific guidelines.
Trainings are provided upon request. Visit the Makery during our operating hours and ask a staff member for a sewing machine training session.
